The
Postal Service is a side project by Death Cab for Cutie frontman
Ben Gibbard and Dntel/Figurine mastermind Jimmy Tamborello.
Their collaboration has so far produced one album, 2003's
Give Up, and we've heard another is on its way …
eventually. We hope the rumors are true.

WE LOVE THE POSTAL SERVICE
Ben Gibbard's extraordinary gift for writing
lyrics and melodies and Jimmy Tamborello's talent for creating
electronic-pop music turned out to be a perfect match. "Give
Up" is an amazing album, and it's gone a long way toward
building a new generation of synthpop/electropop fans.
