WHY
WE LOVE TEARS FOR FEARS
The
songwriting is amazing. Period. Tears for Fears makes music
that stays in your head – but in a good way. And who
doesn't love the montage in the movie Donnie Darko
that's set to "Head Over Heels"?
FAN
COMMENTS
i'm
gonna have to watch "Donnie Darko" again.
i remember the variation of "Mad World" by
Gary Jules, but i totally missed the "Head Over
Heels" montage. what can i say? it was 2001. i
was in a different place at the time.
i recently i live in austin texas entered a contest
to win tickets i'm poor to see oleta adams the singer
discovered by tears for fears she's coming here soon
i won't win i bought her cd entitled "one"
but i loaned it a friend it was never returned she was
so great on so many of their songs most note bad man's
song & advice for the young at heart
why am i a fan? but unfortunately they speak to me.
but the world is sadness madness but despite ourselves
we'll overcome ourselves we'll wake up to a new day.
no band is only just their hits. check out all of their
cds, all their songs, including the rap version of "Sowing
the Seeds," called "Johnny Panic & the
Bible of Dreams." Check out Roland's solo work,
Curt's band Mayfield. Check out Graduate, the Ska band
Roland & Curt had before forming TFF.
