Arcadia
was a side project by Duran Duran
members Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor.
WHY
WE LOVE ARCADIA
The
venture produced only one album – 1985's So Red
the Rose – but that one album is a good enough
one that the band is worth including on this site. Take Duran
Duran's album Seven and the Ragged Tiger and
mix in doses of ambience, experimentation and some stellar
guest musicians (David Gilmour, Sting, Grace Jones and others),
and you've got one of the best synthpop albums of the '80s.
